Surf Base Barcelona

Surfing in Barcelona is not a fantasy, in fact, this sport has become a fashion, and there is an increasing concentration of people practicing, and young and not so young people in any public transport in the city with their board, moving or returning from the beach.

The Base Nàutica Municipal de Barcelona is a municipal concession facility that has been running for 25 years and organises summer camps, school courses, beaching and a long list of activities including catamaran sailing, optimist, Catalan skate, windsurfing, plus kayaking, paddle surfing, charters and nautical qualifications.

Surf Base Barcelona is a new surf club that is born rooted in the Nautical Base of Barcelona, with the aim of consolidating a stable service of surf equipment rental (boards, wetsuits), Surfboards parking where we will keep your surf equipment and you can come and get it when you want to surf (space for two surfboards and if you want we also keep your wetsuit) and if you do not know how to surf, but you would like to learn, we have courses and beginners classes.
We want to be a meeting point and a place for fun and educational activities for a group that is growing next to some of the best spots in Barcelona for surfing, such as Bogatell beach, Nova Mar Bella and Llevant.

Surf Base Barcelona understands surfing as a philosophy and a way of life, that’s why we had the idea of creating a space to share our knowledge, create a surfing community in the city and enjoy the company of all those who like us need a daily dose of sea.

Surf Base Barcelona is open all year round, however, we provide a special service on days when surfing is at its best.
